In our endeavours to be perfect what we don't realise is that we lose golden opportunities for learning. In our striving and struggling to get it right we waste time. In our trying to please all of the people all of the time, having to be perfect, we never discover who we really are. In our having to be perfect by living up to others' expectations we end up feeling exhausted, burned out and no good to anybody, least of all ourselves.
